MoM-Program-Banner

The MoM program offers students the flexibility to tailor their learning while building a strong foundation in both hard and soft skills essential for management professionals. Students will have the flexibility to:

  • 1. choose from one of the following four specialisations: (a) Business Intelligence, (b) Marketing Analytics, (c) Finance & FinTech and (d) Entrepreneurship.
  • 2. choose a General Management path: By selecting eight elective units from across the specialisations, subject to meeting any prerequisite requirement for each selected unit.

In their final semester, students will undertake a comprehensive individual capstone Industry Research Project / Entrepreneurship Project in their chosen area of specialisation, applying their learning to address a real-world business challenge.

Business Intelligence (BI)

Business Intelligence brings together business analytics, data mining, data visualisation, advanced tools, infrastructure, and best practices to help organisations make more data-driven decisions.

Students specialising in this area will study units such as Artificial Intelligence in Business, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics and Platforms, Digital Governance and Cyber Security, and Legal, Ethical and Social Aspects of Emerging Technologies.

These units prepare graduates to launch successful careers in the BI domain.

Marketing Analytics (MA)

The global demand for marketing analytics is growing steadily, driven by the expansion of digital and social media marketing, a stronger focus on consumer behaviour, and the shift toward customer-centric approaches. The field is projected to grow at a CAGR of approximately 13% by 2027. MoM students pursuing this specialisation will undertake units such as Brand Management, Research for Customer Insights, Digital Management Analytics, Social Media and Web Analytics, and Marketing Strategies and AI.

Graduates will be prepared for roles such as Digital Marketer, Marketing Coordinator, Product Manager, Marketing Analyst, and similar positions in the marketing domain.

 

Finance and FinTech (FFT)

Australia’s digital transformation reflects a forward-looking approach to embracing technology across sectors, especially in financial services. The country has witnessed a rise in fintech innovations, including digital payment platforms, online banking, and blockchain applications.

MoM students specialising in Finance and FinTech will explore units such as Financial Systems and Markets, Banking and Financial Services, FinTech and Technology Innovation, Designing FinTech Products and Services, Payments and Lending, and Wealth Management and Insurance.

This specialisation prepares graduates for roles like FinTech Analyst, Customer Success Associate, Product Manager, and Performance Growth Analyst.

Entrepreneurship (EE)

With the global rise of startup ecosystems and a strong focus on innovation, entrepreneurship is seeing rapid growth through incubators, funding programs, and policy support. At the same time, the family business sector remains a major contributor to economic activity, including in Australia.

Students in this specialisation will gain the knowledge and skills needed to launch their own ventures or scale existing family businesses. The curriculum includes Entrepreneurial Finance, Management Accounting, E-Business Strategies, Business Acceleration and Growth Strategies, Brand Management, and Digital Marketing.

 

General Management

This specialisation is designed for students who seek a broad-based understanding of management across disciplines rather than focusing on a single area. It is particularly well-suited for those entering family businesses or pursuing generalist roles in corporate environments.

Students will choose eight elective units from across the offered specialisations, subject to prerequisite requirements, allowing them to build cross-functional knowledge and versatile management skills.
