CAREER ACCELERATION AND ADAPTION
How do you lead your organisation to stay ahead of the competition in this fast-changing business landscape? An MBA could be your answer to thriving in this age of change. But we understand that busy working professionals often face hurdles balancing work and personal life with on-campus schedules, timetables, attendance and commute time.
SP Jain's Executive MBA (EMBA), taught in a virtual classroom, is an 18-month part-time program that offers you all the benefits of an on-campus MBA right at your doorstep, without having you leave the comfort of your home, job or city. Delivered through a state-of-the-art Engaged Learning Online (ELO) technology, the program is positioned to bring the dynamism and engagement of the SP Jain classroom online and in real time.
The program is flexible and structured in a way to help you find a balance between your personal and professional life while you pursue your MBA.
The fully Online EMBA is taught by our world-class core faculty as well as through sourcing faculty from leading business schools around the world. Graduating from SP Jain means that you have a globally branded EMBA which is widely recognised around the world.
Just before I joined SP Jain’s EMBA (taught virtually), I was very close to signing up for a full-time on-campus program. But that involved a lot of changes. I had to put my career on hold. So, I decided to explore an online program. This is one of the best decisions I have taken for my education. It’s given me the flexibility to continue working. I didn’t have to stop working, move houses or move to a different state.
When you’re in class, you’re in front of all your batchmates. You can see everybody right there. It doesn’t feel like you’re away. You can ask and answer questions on the fly. The favourite part so far has been the administrative setup. The team is doing a fabulous job. Any request we ask for is immediately dealt with. It’s great that SP Jain has this kind of an engaging online format.
I am a mother to a five-year-old and a Project Manager at Syngene. I’m pursuing the EMBA (taught virtually) to balance my personal and professional worlds. My experience at SP Jain has been great so far. It feels like you are sitting in class because you have a very engaging atmosphere where the professor is asking you questions, there’s a lot of cold-callings and you see your classmates. The best part has been the learning that we have gained. It hasn’t been a textbook approach, but a global one where we have been given examples of how the theory that we learn is put into practice in the real world.
Attending classes on campus would have been difficult for me as I travel extensively around the world for my work. Today’s digital world helps you connect from anywhere and learn. That’s why I preferred SP Jain’s online program over a conventional classroom program. No matter where I am travelling to, I have that flexibility and connect with my class. I never felt that I’m missing the class; I’m already in class! My first ELO experience was at Singapore airport. I attended the first lecture of my course from Ecuador. When I was in the Pacific Islands for almost three weeks, I attended two complete modules.
Speaking about diversity, I’m getting the opportunity to be in the same class with someone who has 25 years of experience! We have students from marketing, sales and teaching; someone is an entrepreneur; one of our classmates is a chef – everyone is bringing in their own experiences and this helps us learn better.
SP Jain’s ELO platform is interactive and promising compared to other regular online courses. The experience is as good as sitting in a physical classroom, and my interactions with faculty and classmates have been excellent.
We, as working professionals, keep travelling, have late meetings and family life to attend to. ELO has made it possible to balance and manage both, professional and personal life. I have attended my classes from the airport and different cities like Varanasi and Kolkata in India and other locations. ELO saves travel time and is very convenient for busy professionals. ELO is a new medium to learn and it’s effective and interesting.
My experience of learning through the ELO platform has been intensive. It feels like we are on campus. The program always keeps us on the toes but also ensures that we maintain work, study and life balance. The faculty are knowledgeable with remarkable practical experience. They are with the students at every step. They appreciate the need for balance and are always available to help us.
