Shape the future of finance and wealth management 

The Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) is a 12-month program designed to prepare the next generation of professionals for diverse careers in financial services. The program offers a unique combination of applied finance concepts and practical wealth management principles, providing students with a comprehensive skill set encompassing theoretical knowledge and practical expertise essential in today’s disruptive financial services sector.

As the financial landscape evolves rapidly, our curriculum covers critical areas, such as fintech, sustainable financial management, and data-driven decision-making techniques, to ensure that graduates are well-prepared to navigate the challenges and opportunities in the industry.

The program offers a practical learning experience by presenting real-world business scenarios, equipping students with tangible wealth and investment management knowledge. Moreover, it explores Fintech applications in financial advisory, fostering a deep understanding of the broader implications of FinTech automation, including Robo Advisories, within the wealth management industry. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to undertake an immersive learning experience through applied research and capstone industry projects integrated into the program curriculum.

CFA Institute University Affiliation

The CFA Institute University Affiliation is awarded to institutions whose degree program curricula incorporate at least 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK)—the framework of competencies, ethics, and analytical skills that underpin the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. The affiliation places the MFWM among a select group of finance programs worldwide that reflect the professional and ethical standards expected by leading investment firms and financial institutions globally. As part of the affiliation, MFWM students are also eligible for scholarships awarded by the CFA Institute.

The MFWM program is accredited by the FPSB India. FPSB India offers the globally recognised CFP® certification, which represents excellence in financial planning through rigorous competency and ethical standards. FPSB India is the Indian subsidiary of Financial Planning Standards Board Ltd., Denver, USA, the global standards-setting body for the financial planning profession and owner of the international CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER certification program. Through this strategic association, MFWM program candidates can seamlessly enrol for the prestigious, globally recognised CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) Certification, equipping them to excel as elite professionals in the global financial services industry.
