STRUCTURE & CURRICULUM

Program Structure & Curriculum

SP Jain offers a cutting-edge curriculum designed by experts and benchmarked against the world's best universities. Rigorous coursework ensures that graduates are thoroughly prepared with the knowledge and skills they need to excel as leaders in a global workplace.

As a freshman at SP Jain, you will jump right into core courses that provide the foundation for more detailed and specialised learning in the second half of the program.

PROJECTS

A unique feature of the BBA program is the requirement to undertake two Regional Immersion Projects and a Capstone Project along with other subjects.

  • Regional Immersion Projects

Students undertake a self-directed project related to their area of interest. The project helps students in creating and maintaining a professional portfolio, and encourages them to work in teams, communicate with a designated mentor, and develop a good foundational understanding of how to conduct a research project. During the project, students will identify suitable frameworks, business models, and the research approaches to address business challenges within the contemporary global/regional dynamic environment.

  • Capstone Project

Learning culminates with a capstone project (an Action Learning Project [ALP] or an Entrepreneurship Project) which enables students to apply the knowledge and skills gained in class in a real-world setting. During the ALP, students partner with a company to complete a project and deliver a detailed written report along with a presentation. This gives students an opportunity to engage in self-directed learning, illustrating their skills in reading, discussion, problem identification, evaluation and research, and professional writing. During the Entrepreneurship Project, students use the same skills in preparation to potentially launch their own business.
