On Saturday, 28th September, another successful Executive MBA (EMBA) ECAP Alumni Interaction Event, themed "Leveraging Continuous Learning for Career Advancement," was held online, attracting over 100 students from the EMBA Dubai and Middle East cohorts.
The panel discussion began with a warm introduction by Dr Gary Stockport (Professor - Strategy, Dean - Executive MBA and Chair - Examinations Board), SP Jain. He shared an overview of the EMBA program and introduced the panelists.
The panel included:
- Sameera Khan, an experienced Director with a strong background in mechanical and industrial engineering with expertise in quality management, strategic sourcing, product development, and project engineering.
- With three decades of experience, Shivakumar Subramanian, an IT leader known for successfully leading transformative SAP projects in the GCC region for more than 20 years.
- Rohan Savio Rego, the Associate Director of Destination Management for the Middle East and Africa at IDP Education Ltd, where he manages operations across various regions.
- Stanford Cardoz, an EMBA B24 alumnus and compliance and operations expert. He shared insights on his experience excelling in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments while maintaining a focus on regulatory and operational excellence.
The discussion was moderated by Sriya Bandlapalli, a current EMBA student from the ME B11 cohort.
The highly engaging sessions served as a valuable opportunity for attendees to network and learn from accomplished alumni.
One student remarked, "Learning should never be optional; it is a lifelong journey," while another noted, "No matter how experienced you are, maintaining a beginner's mindset and staying curious are essential for growth."
