SP Jain offers its postgraduate students a modern and innovative specialisation in Contemporary Marketing Management that provides them with the latest and up-to-the-minute insights in global marketing practices. This specialisation covers areas like Research for Customer Insights, Customer Value Management, Brand Management & Marketing Communications, Digital Marketing & Analytics, Sales & Channel Management in Digital Economy, Retail Strategy and B2B Marketing. On completing this specialisation, students will learn to implement marketing strategies that build strong customer relationships, create substantial value and integrate market-facing activities.
This specialisation covers a wide spectrum of topics including Transportation Management, Lean Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Warehousing, Logistics Operations, Global Transportation Management, Technology & Digitisation of Supply Chains, Supply Chain Simulation, Supply Chain Network Design and Demand Management. Dubai, Sydney and Singapore are important logistics hubs, and provide an excellent backdrop to study this specialisation.
This specialisation is designed to meet the needs of professionals who wish to take up key roles as advisors, offer insights and solutions to improve organisational performance, and lead across a range of business verticals and functions. Using a modern learning approach that simulates the decision-making challenges that consultants face today, students gain practical experience in (1) the tools and techniques required to run consulting engagements and build a consulting practice, as well as (2) commonly-encountered client issues such as Digital Transformation, Post Merger Integration, and strategic tools such as Game Theory. Participants have an immersive experience consulting to a New Venture, addressing key aspects of running and growing a business, e.g. strategy, structure, systems, people, processes, marketing, finance, and more.
This specialisation empowers students to drive business transformation through the innovative use of digital technologies. Students opting for this specialisation will graduate with first-hand exposure to global technology practices and trends through projects and interactions with leading companies in each city and acquire skills to innovate and solve business problems with agility and a global mindset. Students apply case study analysis and classroom discussions of cutting-edge, contemporary scenarios to directed research, and examine topics such as Enterprise Innovation, Digital Transformation, Technology Consulting and Advisory Practice, Managing Technology Projects and Outsourcing, FinTech and Technology Innovations.
The specialisation is ideal for students who are aiming for managerial positions in top global financial institutions, advisory firms, or help in managing individual family wealth. Given the depth of the curriculum, this specialisation is also suitable for students who are primarily not looking to work for a financial institution, but would like to acquire financial skills to help them in strategic planning at the top management level across various sectors and firms. The program provides students with important tools and techniques in areas like corporate valuation, international finance, equity analysis, portfolio management, financial derivatives, mergers and acquisitions, financial technology, etc. The program also brings in technological perspectives and how various new technologies are continuously changing the financial functions. You need not indicate your choice at the application stage; you may do so within a month after course commencement. Upon arrival on the campus, you will undergo a briefing by the dean of the program, area heads and members of the corporate relations team to help you make an informed decision.
