Academic Experience

  • In August 2008, he ventured on his own and worked independently for eight years independent entrepreneurial stint as an HR Consultant and Educationist. During this stint, he taught many HR courses at reputed institutes in India and abroad. This included SP Jain School of Global Management (Dubai & Singapore), Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (Mumbai), Welingkar Institute (Mumbai), Xavier Institute of Management (Bhubaneshwar), Symbiosis Institute (Pune) and Goa Institute of Management (Goa).
  • He has conducted Management Development Programs (MDPs) for organisations such as Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Kirloskar Limited, Bayer India and ICICI Bank.
  • He has taught the Executive MBA batches (working professionals) at SP Jain School of Global Management (Singapore, Dubai and Mumbai).
  • In March 2019, he returned to Academics and is presently associated with several institutes/organisations in a teaching/training capacity.

Corporate Experience

  • He has around 34 years of overall work experience across industries, of which 26 years has been in corporate. He has worked in various roles in reputed organisations such as Larsen and Toubro Limited, Fulford India Limited, Infrastructure Leasing and Financial Services Limited, Tata Interactive Systems, Vodafone India, Reliance Industries and Ozone Group. As part of his corporate journey, he has been exposed to diverse industries – Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, E-Learning, Telecom, Oil & Gas and Real Estate.
  • At Tata Interactive Systems, he headed the Human Resources function. He spearheaded the People Capability Maturity Model (PCMM) initiative for the organisation and led the team to achieve Level 5 (the highest level) in this model. He was also actively involved in the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM), which is an adaptation of the Malcolm Baldrige model.
  • At Vodafone, he headed the Resourcing function on a company-wide basis and was responsible for all top-level hiring in the organisation in India.
  • In August 2011, after a three-year stint in Academics, he got back to the corporate world and worked for over 6 years as Vice President & Head – Human Resources for the R&D and Technology Centre of Excellence (Tech. CoE) divisions at Reliance Industries Limited. He was actively involved in the HR Transformation journey at Reliance and developed and streamlined several HR systems and processes at the R&D Centre.
  • In December 2017, he moved on to Ozone Group, one of south India’s leading and fast-growing real estate companies, where he worked as President – Organisation & Talent Development for over a year.
