What happens when finance students step away from spreadsheets and financial models for an afternoon? For students of the Master of Applied Finance and Wealth Management (MFWM) program at SP Jain Global, it meant a day of games, friendly competition, and shared experiences at SMAAASH, Kamala Mills, Mumbai.

The outing brought the cohort together for a range of activities, from go-karting and bowling to cricket and arcade games. Away from lectures, case studies, and assignments, students had the chance to take on new challenges, cheer each other on, and enjoy some friendly rivalry. The change of setting offered a welcome break from their academic schedules, with plenty of opportunities to unwind and have fun together.

Beyond the games, the afternoon gave students time to connect outside their usual classroom routines. Whether competing against one another or simply spending time together between activities, they could get to know their peers in a more relaxed setting. These shared experiences can make the demands of an intensive program easier to navigate by fostering familiarity, camaraderie, and a stronger sense of belonging within the cohort.

At SP Jain Global, student life extends beyond academic learning. Experiences like these give students the opportunity to build relationships, enjoy time together, and create memories along the way. For the MFWM cohort, the outing was a chance to recharge and return to their studies with fresh energy and stronger connections.
